Made by Survivors, an international nonprofit organization, works to help impoverished women and children lead self-sustainable and financially independent lives. The organization has created programs that help women find jobs in respected professions, and children gain access to education.

Furthermore, Made by Survivors sells a beautiful metal-smithing jewelry line called Relevee that is all handmade by these women (in India, such a job would be traditionally a man's profession... not anymore!). Their ages range from 17 to 27 years old.

Since 2005, Made by Survivors has employed over 300 artisans, sent 250 children to school, and invested thousands and thousands of dollars in community development projects. These women, these survivors of slavery and other human abuse, have come together under one organization in order to handcraft beautiful items and better their lives.
