Be Home was founded in 2007 by 2 Belgians living in the San Francisco Bay Area. With a vision to introduce handmade, ecologically friendly, responsibly produced products, they are dedicated to the principles of fair trade and equal opportunity. They work with family-run businesses, cooperatives and those that treat their workers fairly and with respect. They insure compliance with their standards by making frequent visits to the groups that handcraft their designs in Vietnam, Thailand, India, Bolivia, Indonesia and Tunisia, and are helping them to improve their standards of living.

Be Home prides itself on offering items that are made from reclaimed materials, such as teak left over from the logging industry, glassware made from recycled cola bottles, candle votives made from repurposed glass bottles, and mango wood and olive wood that has been ecologically harvested from dried out plantation trees.

All items are handmade, making each one unique. For this reason no two products look exactly the same.
